IV got a piece of sheet metal I could bend to look like that. You know anyone who has pics of how they put this in their truck Dr. Evil?? Just curious on the placement of it.

No pics and I dont have one but it looks to me like it goes under the mounting bolts of the middle seat. Use a little imagination - you should be able to make something like that work.

IV already got mine in and it works. I just screwed my CB mount to the top part of the dash cover that you can take off. I'd post pics if I knew how with this friggin phone cuz I like the look of it like that. Matter of personal preference though.

I put mine right in front of the stick. (5 speed) it works very well! Very much out of the way! I put a cobra in it. If you can get a hold of some whips and a amp for it you must! With my 1600 watt amp I can talk as far out as I care. A must for Idaho in the woods!

i mounted mine to the floor right against the middle seat vertically so i could see all the dials and stuff. Worked perfect on my 98 auto and was always out of the way

I dont have a picture of it tonight. Will get one first thing in the morning but I took a regular cb mount and welded two brackets on it and mounted them inside where the ash tray goes. If I ever want to get rid of the cb I just unbolt it put the tray back in and no one will ever know anything had ever been there.
