th ebest advice i can giv eyou is be patient and build your truck. it'll smoke when it's ready. having a stock truck belching out clouds of soot is like putting a fart can muffler on a ricer. or an 8' whip on a truck without a cb. function should always come before form. and smoke is just unburnt fuel anyway. ,ost ppl are gonna look at ur truck like a scrap heap if ur constantly blacking the world out.

be patient. it'll happen. just my $.02.

A tuber like the SCT will make it smoke AND go fast. But you do need guages cause those EGTS will hit high in a few seconds with such a performance tune. Again though, i don't know for sure that SCT will work on Dodges but I can't think of a reason they wouldn't. I know it is popular umong the PSD guys. I do'nt have one but will soon. A buddy of mine has one and his truck is FAST and it will lay down a trail of coal on WOT.

i know ya do, but like i said, be patient. sit down today and give urself an honest assessment of how fast you can afford to go. then start from there keeping in mind all the incidental upgrades u'll need for the rest of the truck. once u get that done get ahold of shane at wicked diesels. i've never done business with him..yet, but he seems committed to us so give him a holler.

like i said, take my words for what u want. just big brother advice from some clown ya met on the internet.

or you could buy a Ford 6.OH NO and wait for it to create it's own smoke show when it has a leaky injector or a blowed headgasket, or an egr cooler blowing apart......

oh that was mean.... Lord I apologize and be with the starving pigmy's Cummins Forum is sponsoring down in New Guinea.... Amen....

DISCLAIMER i was not bashing the Ford 6.0 motor just highlighting the problems they have had in the past......

You COULD use cardboard and block off half or so of the air filter. I know a jackass that did it on his friends powerstroke. It did smoke more but it was retarded because the truck was slow as hell and just smoked. Like mentioned above ricer with fart can Just my $.02

The first thing to do is get gauges. There are boxes that have them built in. With one of them you could 'kill' two birds with one stone. If you want more smoke then think about some injectors.

see zach, the first thing i did with my new truck i got a week ago was put in gauges the day after i got it. i know you are working on getting them yourself, but seriously, until then wait on anything else.

i love smoke myself, though i am at the moment practicing the whole practicality over goddarn fun ya know? takin things slow on my end with my new rig is all....
