Well I think I'm going to get it. Like I said I don't tow. If I have problems spooling it what would be a good tuner to help it spool? Smarty?

The special is a pretty big turbo. You have a decent amount of fueling, if its a little too laggy a SMarty will help. The Special should spool ok with what you have. its set up to spool well and still flow. I think you will be happy with it.

I guess a qualifying question is what settings do you normally drive on? If you roll around on 1x1, it might not want to spool too well. . . . . .

I will have my comp set on what ever will spool it the best and keep smoke to a minimum while in traffic. What setting do you reccommend? 3x3 or maybe 4x2? At what RPM do yall think it will start spooling? 1800, 2000?

Thanks!

if its start spooling at 1800-2000rpm it will be crap to run,
i mean how much time u really spend up there?
while normaly driving i shift around 2100rpm and cruise at 1800

id say get a smaller turbo else u need to run WOT to appreciate this turbo

even 200stick and smarty wont make it spool much faster ,u need exaust flow to get this thing running and u must get high in the RPM to do that else u got nitrous and hit the button everytime u want it to spool

Well it's on the way. I talked to Pat at BD and he said spool would come on at 1700 rpms. I guess by this time next week it'll be on the truck.

Good to hear you got it. Tell me how it works I am still on the fence about what to do. I am starting to lean towards the BD twins.
