You definitely better get at least that and get a fuel pressure gauge before you really start rodding on it with the programmer.

My Superchips flashpaq took out 2 stock lift pumps over 15,000 miles

Most aftermarket turbos will require an HX40 style down pipe.

1. gauges 2. lift pump 3. trans upgrades 4. programmers etc... you can run programmers without trans upgrades as long as you dont get too wild. you could also look into a programmer that has a monitor with gauges built in too

If you can, get a full SunCoast rebuild. They run big money but are really strong.
The Torque Converter is a weak link and upgrading to a tripple billet would be a good idea. Also a shift kit to increase line pressure so the clutchs clamp tighter.
