I have a question about fuel pressure gauges. What is considered to be the best fuel pressure gauge as far as ease of installation, cost, accuracy, and life span of the unit for a 99 Ram 3500 with the 5.9L diesel? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

We have always had great luck with Isspro Gauges. The easiest install is there Electrical EV2 series.

 

There are two types of guages - 1) mechanical 2) electrical.

Mechanical guages are cheap and durable and the guts are all the same.

Electrical guages are expensive, and somewhat finicky. Lots of people have had trouble with them.

Ive got Isspro EV's and they have been flawless.

I have the EV2 gauges and find that the fuel pressure gauge is quite noisy

 

I have Autometer and am very satisfied with their service. Plus they are made in the USA with American labor. Thanks for asking, Kerley
