swapping input shafts
#2
there was a thread somewhere a while back with pics, but can't find it.
if memory serves: alls you do is unbolt the input shaft bearing retainer, pull that off, pull the input shaft out and change it. it didn't look or sound that hard to do. just search around a lil for it, and good luck.

swapping input shafts
It also depends on the year of the trans. If your going to put a 1 3/8 gm shaft in, they had two different first gear ratios, I think 93 was the split. The newer trans has the same 1st ratio as the 1 1/4 input trannies, otherwise you will also need to have the cluster shaft gear. I have an input shaft and cluster gear from an earlier style trans if you like, gm though, the dodge shaft is longer, little jumbled, sorry, but I think I got it all there.
