Default waste gate question

since i put twins on the super b( hx40) and ht 60 with im guessing a 23 housing i have only really been able to get 40lbs boost.. im guessing its because i never changed the wastegate setting. how do i change it? lenghten the rod or shorten it? if thats not the problem any other thoughts would be helpful

Shorten the rod, if you are looking to do it that way. You can always pinch off the hose as well.

What is the pressure like between your two chargers? I am guessing that your top charger is making all the boost and the bottom isn't pushing much air through. You want the wastegate on the top charger to regulate it to a PR of roughly 2-2.4:1.

Have to put another gauge in to measure boost from the Primary.

Only 7 or 8, eh? I know my buddys 12V pushes 16 out of his S400, totaling 65-68 at the intake.

Ambient pressure at your elevation is 14.01psi. So your primary is running at a PR of approx 1.5:1. And your secondary is running at a PR of approx. 2.22. The secondary probably right about where it wants to be, It could stand to go a little higher, but really you need to get that bottom charger spinning to get your airflow up. That super b probably could stand to run up to about 3.0 and similarly with the ht60 as larger turbos operate better at higher PR's. Anyways, I think that wastegating is probably about spot on, but you need more fuel to get that bottom charger spinning.
