Default Liberty Fuel Module W/ Draw straw

I have a 1998.5 truck. I was installing air dog and lowered the tank. When i did I found that a line on the sending unit had been rigged. I went to get the other one off and it broke.. I was wondering if the liberty fuel module w/ draw straw from Vulcan would be a good replacment? It would be great if it does so i dont have to drill a hole in my tank. If not I have to go to the dealer It was never converted to the in the tank pump either.
Thanks

I think it is a very good choice! I have a Draw Straw V in my truck, which makes it the same thing, I just did the install to an existing sending unit. If my sending unit failed, I would definitely get the Liberty Module.

Good call, I don't think you will regret it at all. If you have the means to do so, pull the box off instead of dropping the tank. I've done it both ways and pulling the box is way easier!

Exactly! I'm not kicking myself about dropping the tank. As you said, live and learn. Now I know exactly why one was is easier than the other.
