well i may have finally made up my mind. quad adrenaline WITH pulse monitor airdog 150 recon cab lights and a suspension max leveling kit. any objections too this? i will replace my clutch as soon as i can. don't think i'll get a southbend...friend of mine got his welded to the flywheel when he let a friend put his truck in the burnout comp yesterday. i was thinking about gettin custom built clutch. any other things i should be careful of with my five speed tranny? would it be worth it to get it built up STRONG in the near future

Now for those with non smart *** answers... my transmission is fine. i am thinking about getting it rebuilt as a stronger tranny in the next year or so. is it worth it or is my 5 speed ok as it is, just needs a better clutch. i plan to pull loads every now and again and would like the ability to pull heavy when i want, but still smoke ricers on the road.
i'll do the above mentioned, and later on injectors, head studs and a turbo i'm hopin, and of course a three piece manifold.

The head gets a groove machined into it, and an o-ring is used to seal the combustion chamber, instead of the thin metal ring used in head gaskets. This way you can safely run higher boost pressures.

machine a groove around each cylinder on your head...insert o-ring.. new head gasket.. get a set of studs.. torque'em down to about 145 lbs.. you will blow at least one with a turbo and decent injectors unless you let it idle to operating temp first.. just my personal experience that cost $207 dollars each time she goes..
