The hot line will be the same on every 727-based Chrysler trans from the first one that rolled off the assembly line 1966 to the last 48RE installed in a Dodge pickup in 2007.

Thanks for that, but I meant the test port as shown on the edge instructions? Do all the dodge transmissions have the test port in the same location?

They should, there are two ports in that area. I'm using both of them. One for the Edge and the other for my Auto Mete gauge. They both read very, very close to one another.
