hello one of my cousins has a 99 dodge cummins and the other day it got hot and we took the box apart and a part of the micro chip was burnt what could have caused this and can he send it to quadzilla to get fixed?

 

id send it to quadzilla regardless if that one can be fixed. how long has he owned it? it may still be under warranty.

anything electrical has the chance to get burned out, but idk what would have caused it to do it.

 

Yep, I had an incident with my EJWA. It's on it's way to Edge right now. Something burnt out on the computer board.

 

same thing something burnt out on his computer board. hes owned the adrenaline over a year.

 

There was a mandatory update that fixed this issue last yr.

 

mine did the same thing, if it was the little white piece it is what controlls the fuel, i havnt sent mine in yet, but they told me cuz i didnt send in the warrenty car in, they will send me a new c board for $100

 

I had one that burned up as well. It was still under warranty though and it was after the mandatory update so I had the updated board with it.

If I remember correctly, there was a certain range of serial numbers that had to send their boxes back to get updated(for free) but if you didn't, they would no longer warranty them.

mine burnt up after warranty was done and they charged me $100 and replaced the box,it cost me more in shipping and f'n brokerage fee's then to repair the box

 

i had a quadzilla on the 02 and the wire harness for it melted and quadzilla told me since we didnt send the warrenty card back in all they could do is giving me a good deal on the new one they had out, this was 3yrs ago tho
