I want to know.
I want to know who out here has, or had a in tank pump installed as a fix to the original block mounted lift pump. How long did it last for you? How much fuel pressure did you have? I left the other thread alone because I would like some info to see how many of there are in use, or how many have failed. But according to one individual I don't know anything about a in tank pump. So please anyone who has had one or knows anything add it to here. I myself think the in tank pump is junk.

I completely agree that the intank pump is crap!! When I bought my truck that is what it had in it, but I'm not too sure for how long. It made very poor flow, therefore low pressure. With the Edge on level 1 and not too heavy of a foot pressure would drop to 4psi from 14psi at idle. Any harder acceleration it would drop to 0.
I had Chevy gas trucks in the past, and everyone of them has gotten at least one in tank pump changed. IMO, since the mechanical block mounted or IP mounted pumps became a thing of the past, fuel pump quality and reliability from a vehicle manufacturer has dropped significantly.

Intank pump doesnt last to long IMO.
