You should buy new shocks.Yes you will need a alignment.Might want to check the ball joints, tie rod ends, trac bar ...ect.While you are at it.Shocks I recommend Bilsteins 5100s.When you raise it check for center so your axle is lined up correctly.

Yes, get an alignment, I didn't till I relized that I was destroying my right front tire! It was over 1/2" out on the toe in.

No not on a leveling kit.I change my sway bar end links on mine because the ball joints were wore out.

I saw some kits with the sway bar drop mounts. Just checking. Thanks

I guess it is time to hit up some sponsors for the shocks

Every part with alignment or poistioning affected by the ride height needs to be addressed: Sway bar, control arms, track bar, shocks, steering.

You can get away with doing more or less with some things. For example, adjusting the control arm eccentrics forward. But anything not corrected for ride height is a compromise that affects ride and handling and basically results in a half-assed lift to some degree.

Its not hard if you have a lift.It took me 3 hours but I also changed the shocks and sway bar end links.Do have a lift you can use it will be easier and safer.
