well the stock oil pressure gauge would read 70psi all the time when the key was on but engine not turnin i priced a sending unit at the dealer and it was $250 so i said screw that and bought an auto meter ultra lite electric full sweep gauge for $70 and put it in my third gauge hole what do you guys think oh and i hooked up the sendin unit to the other outlet on top of the oil pump.

 

Thats not hooked to the oil pump thats the filter head. The oil pump is in the oil pan.

Jesus man, a FRAM filter? You like life on the edge dont you? Id be more worried about the FRAM filter than the broken pressure sender.
