I was talking to one of my buddies and he was sayin that if you run all your valves down a half turn that you will make a lot more power in a way i can belive it but also will it f*** up my head?

There is a probability that your pistons will hit your valves, and they may stay open all the time without the proper lash. I strongly do not advise that adjustment.

if you have stiff springs, cam and lifter wear become an issue as well

I have done mine at 72,000 but I put some injectors in my truck.I did a truck(2002)
that had 112,000 on it and the valve lash was good.Between 80 to 100,000 a good time to check.Do you know how check for proper valve adjustment.

Turbo 20psi, I inherated the truck with 189k so I don't know about the valves. The owner [my best buddy] was a professional trucker so who knows.
