new turbo doesn't always mean lower egts, when i got my new one my egts still run about the same as they did before, i just know that now my turbo can handle the egts a bit better, I'd say maybe you need to look else where, intercooler should help a little bit, what are you running for exhaust? maybe look into a water meth set up cause it's really good at calming down the egts, big injectors aren't helping the cause much, of course i don't know how big 125's really are on a VP44 truck, that's a big injector on a common rail i know that

x2 turbo will help maintain the egts and harness the power of all that fuel i would definetly look into a water/meth setup it will drop your egts up to 300 degrees also turn down your edge to number 5 that will help as well

pairing the injectors to the turbo will work wonders. I ran my 62/71/14 with ddp 110's and a stock manifold and never saw over 1400 down the track.

i ran 150s with my special with smarty and quad adr stack and i never had a problem with egts besides toweing. idk if your up for it but a port and polished head with a 181/210 cam from hamilton did wonders for my truck. power band is awsome and i have to try very hard to get egts over 1000
