Ok, so the super b special is now on and running. My biggest problem now is high EGT's. My EGT's after the install of the super b special are higher than the stock charger. Its not too too bad as far as how laggy it is... Definately drivable, but it sure does run hot. Towing my jeep on my car trailer, the EGT's are between 1000-1200 degrees on very slight grades highway driving. When i'm not towing, they are still pretty high... Mid 900's on slight grades highway driving. Definately higher than the stock charger. The ARP studs are in the mail thanks to MIGHTY DIESEL and i need to figure out what my next step is. So my question is, what next? I need to spool the charger faster and reduce EGT's. Should I do a 3 piece BD manifold or meth injection? Or... Stack a smarty, or bigger better injectors? Im running 150hp Jammers which i know suck, but i would rather not change them out now. Should i try the manifold or the meth injection next? How much of a decrease in EGT's am i gonna see with the manifold? At this point its an endless money pit...

I'd say the solution, although pricey, would be a compound turbo set up. I don't think a Smarty will change the temp while cruising, but would probably increase it during acceleration. Better injectors would help, but not bigger.
My 2 cents.

change your injectors as your just throwing parts at something that doesn't need it. You will pick up 40+ hp just by going with a quality injector. I did the same thing I my truck a year ago feb. I went from 100hp jammers to 110hp ddp's my egts dropped a lot smoke was less and I went from 440 to 488 at the wheels same dyno.

Compounds would be awesome, but there's absolutely no way I can drop another 2k or so right now...

Yeah, i should have never put those jammers in. I wouldn't mind trying a manifold though just to see if it helps. If it drops the egt's a little and spools a little faster, that's all I need and I'll be done. Does anyone have experience with how well the good 3 piece manifolds work?

That Special should clear up a good set of injectors.

So I guess I'm looking at about $800 for a set of 150ddp's correct?

Do you honestly think that will give me the results I'm looking for? Mostly just lower egt and faster spool would be nice

Thats a big turbo to spool. If you don't tow 200's would probably help spool better.
