Quadzilla Learning?!

We did make some software changes to the updates a while back because we did see and have some guys with the same type of issue. All of the ADR2_1000, ADR2_2000 and the Beta tunes are the most recent tunes that will take care of the issue from occurring. So you just need to make sure that you are running these most recent tunes.

Hey guys, can anybody help me figure this updating stuff out? My Vista OS isn't finding the module when I plug it in. I don't have the driver software cd, so I'm thinking that I'll need to be making a call back to Quadzilla to find out what i am going to need to put this ADR1000 in my 02 dodge. Best tunes to get once I am able to flash the module? Comments, ideas? Any advice always welcome.

Possibly the drivers are not installed correctly. you can check
for this by going to the Start menu>control panel>system>hardware
tab>device manager. When you have the device manager open look
for a icon that reads "ports" and click the + to the left of it.
You will need the module connected to your machine for this
procedure. Under ports you will have two items, a communications
port, and a printer port. Then there should see an item that
reads "usb to serial converter" if the drivers are correctly
installed. If they are not it would read AT91USBSERIAL, or
Unknown device, or USBdevice. If it reads anything other than
"usb to serial converter" then they are installed incorrectly. To
reinstall the drivers correctly you will need to find one of these
labels (usbdevice, unknown device, other device, ect.) and choose
"uninstall" click "ok" to the warning. shortly after selecting
uninstall the "found new hardware wizard" will come up, at this
time select "no not this time", then "install automatically". if
the computer asks you for a file named "usbser.sys on windows
driver cabinet" a window will pop up asking to to search a
specific location or to type a path for the file to be found in,
you can type this in that space, C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers then
click ok, and the computer should find the drivers and install
them correctly. disconnect the module and open an update program
off of our website, connect the module and click update module and
see what happens. If it still does not work you may want to try a
different usb port on the computer. Hope this helps

Hope you got head studs!!! I was running 3000 tunes and the WAY overboosted on my stock turbo. My head bolts took a crap and the head gasket blew. Verified when the shop said the head was NOT even .005" out! Sooooo yeah. Upgraded turbo or head studs or you may be doing a "redo" like me. I am o-rung and studded now! Hells yeah!

Well guys, here is the latest: Talked with Jeremy just a little while ago and they are looking into my problem of the missing drivers issue. Super bunch to deal with at Quad. It is a problem with the software and my 64 bit system and 32 bit files, or something the software developers are having to work on. But there is a cure for my module on the horizon. Thanks again to those who offered helpful advice.
