Lower settings on the smarty and you should be fine. They fuel very agressively on the high settingd. Id buy one set it on the lower settings and then if you build and auto crank it up to nine and rock

an edge comp or juice with att. the smarty adds like 65hp you can not tap pump wire on edge till you build the trans at a later date trust me you will have to. then you can tap the pump wire and add up to 120 hp.

Go with the edge until you get your trans built. Edge you can shift on the fly and you can stack a smarty later!

so im having a guy put a stage 2 rebuild on my trans for 3300 but it has a 5 year unlimited mile warranty and it comes with a new torque converter idk what kind of converter yet but i was wondering if thats a good deal and also what kinda fuel set up should i run if i stack the smarty with the edge and get 100hp injectors or should i go that big on the injectors and do you think a stage 2 would hold a upgraded turbo????? any input is welcomed

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

and should i fire ring my heads and get head studs with a larger turbo or would it be okay without that stuff???

whats included in a stage 2 rebuild? find out on the converter too. Seems like a decent price depending on whats included. Don't stack the smarty with an edge you loose power and slower times at the track. whats your goal for the truck power wise etc. if your going to tow and daily drive it etc you really need to know what you want. you can roll studs in one at a time to get it to hold for as long as possible. when you have to do a head gasket have it o-ringed.

01quadcab the transmission is pretty much been degutted and beefed up like billet imput and output shafts heavier clutches and bands i guess im still not sure he just said that and then some other stuff haha he said the converter is a 5disc supposed to be really good and im just lookin for something to pull a big load of stone or block down the highway at 70mph being cuz im a mason and something that can blot out the sun with coal when i feel like it would be nice as well
