dr p. has a **** poor reputation and is dishonest wih his advertising.

i tried dr p on my 24v and the power gain was supposed to be double of what i previously had. well i lost 7mph on the test hill. i imediately removed the dr performance garbage and got my power back. false claims.

also on 3rd gen trucks they were pushing a rail pressure increase box only. 110 hp worth. and then telling you ya dont need guages.

i can go on all day about other examples from people i know who tried dr p. imo a dishonest person and dishonest company with inferior product.

with all the great products available dont waste your time with a dr performance piece of garbage.

I just talked yesterday to a buddy that has a '98.5 and replaced one of those units recently. He said his EGT's dropped about 250 degrees. Of course I can't recall now what he replaced it with.

dr p did nothing to adress extra boost in the form of a boost module. that is one reason why the egt is higher.

i thought it was totally dishonest that dr p would tell the customer guages are not necesary especially when they ran warmer with the dr p than with other power adders. just making people think that there system is better cuz it didnt need guages when the other companies told ya you do need guages. i saw first hand on my 98.5 how the pyro was.

dr p was also telling people his setup DOES NOT ADD FUEL. but in reality fuel + air = POWER. he is a liar because how ya gonna gain power with no fueling increase?

i had mods originally that added 75 rwtq. his stage 2 kit was supposed to add 200 tq. how does 200 tq increase loose power over a 75 tq increase?

his stage 2 kit wouldve been 2500 bucks. it is rumored his kit was nothing more than a set of 275 injectors that ya can get for $300. they pluged into the ecm and supposebly did some reprograming. i know folks who have dynoed with the dr p setup got waaaaaaaay less to the wheels than what dr p had claimed.

some say that his 12v kits are nothing but a stock plate moved ahead and they too are expensive.

and the pressure boxes for the 3rd gens are bad all the way around. especially when they recomend no pyrometer on a 110 hp box, and all rail pressure increase and no timing/duration makes more some real hot temps.

the cummins websites are filled with complaints on dr p, especially from way back in the 24v timeframe when these trucks were new.

prison is too good for dr p. i am surprised he is still in business.
