Default Fireball 150's idle

Got my fireball 150's installed yesterday and the truck is idling a little funny. Sounds almost like a miss but not quite. You can hear it standing next to the truck and through the stacks. It sounds like there is a line still loose, but I didnt see any external leaks last night. It runs out good just has a bit of a bouncy idle, its not even close to a lope. I checked the oil before I started it so I am gonna watch it and see if I have a connector tube leaking fuel to the crankcase. Anybody else with fireballs have similar symptoms?

i don't have the same injectors, but when i put mine in it did something similar to that, i was thinking i did something wrong. But it went away in a coupla days. i figured it might've been air in the lines that wasn't going through the injectors. that was back in November. runs super smooth again now.

Started it the first time this morning and it didnt do it, but by the time I got to town and it was warmed up a bit it was doing it again. Probably let it go a couple days and see if it still does it.

Mine idled ok with the fireballs 150s,but I also adjusted the valves to.Do you feel any missing while you drive? Also I have a SO pump and you have HO pump not sure if that matters for the internal differents in the pumps to how it would effect the idle on the truck with bigger injectors.

Might have to remove them and have all 6 tested again to make sure something isn't off.

Did a little more checking today, no leaks externally and I dont believe any internally either, cause the oil level has not risen and it doesn't reek of diesel. Gonna drive it a couple days and see what happens.

They will idle just like stock.

Most issues I see with idle quality I can trace back to a high pressure leak from the crossover tubes.

Either they were nicked on injector removal/ installation or they were over tightened.

Not saying is what happened to you, but it is the most common issue I see.

Also, you may never see fuel on the head and or in the oil. It simply returns along the back of the head to the tank...
