Default Smarty Edge EZ stack?

I am currently running a Smarty, and know a couple of guys with EZ's for sale. I was wondering if this was a good stack or not? I know that I would have to run the Smarty without timing. Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

According to a very handy chart I acquired, it will work. How well, I do not know.

I had them stacked i liked it but I switched to the drag comp stacked with the smarty and its pretty awesome. Everybody says run the smarty without timing if you stack but I think it depends on the truck, I ran the smarty on 9 with the ez and it didnt sound bad and made it faster and I think anything that makes you faster works

Just remember...Timing is what blows headgaskets...that's why when the Quad Adr came out, it ensured that Haisley and Scheid never go out of business...because guys were putting too much timing into their Quads and blowing headgaskets. That's why you're not supposed to run timing from two boxes to the VP, plus the SOVP can only advance timing so much.

If you already have a smarty I really wouldn't invest any money into a edge EZ. If you want something to go with that smarty try to find a tst pm3. That combo rocks. Otherwise go to a edge comp. This is just my opinion but I have played with all these combo's.
Oh and one more thing I much prefer the timing of the smarty over any edge product. I'm running the Adrenaline now and turn off the timing and run the smarty timing on that combo also Great Combo

The answer is no. Even though you can runt he Smarty without timing, there would be no gains from this combo. A fueling box as mentioned earlier would be a better match for the Smarty.

I actually could never get the Smarty to behave with any of the million combos I have run. So, a simple Juice is all that's needed and far faster with higher HP. Plus I can now use my cruise.

Thanks for all the input, I was just currious, thought I might be able to get one of these for a good price. I would rather go to with a fuel only box so I could still run the smarty with timing, but I'm not sure which box if any is fuel only with no timing? But I think it might be a good idea if I wait to add another box until I get a new charger, and stud's and rings. Thanks again, and if anyone knows what box is fuel only, so I can use the smarty's timing I would appriciate it.

The TST PM3 is fuel only box that is why I suggested that one first. And I have ran that combo of smarty & pm3 and it is a great combo you will love it

JAZZ.. when you say you turn the timing off on the quadzilla you mean the timing scale when you go to custom tuneing? i would rather run my smarty with timing insted off the quadzilla. just dont wanna break nothing. did you notice any differnce running the smarty with timing over the quad ADR? thanks

Correct! On the custom tuning go to timing and bump it down to zero. I did notice some difference in performance and also fuel mileage. My truck just seems to run smoother with the smarty doing the timing. Not 100% sure on fuel mileage as of yet would like to run a few more tanks through since coming out of winter and temps warming up. But it seemed to give more miles per tank so far
