Default Isspro Ev2

I installed an Air Dog 150 this past weekend and I got a Isspro EV2 fuel pressure gauge and the needle bounces between 24 and 26 at idle and when I get on it bounces between 18 and 20. Is this something to be concerned with or is this normal? Its electric and I have it tapped into a 90 fitting that's taps the vp44.

you need a snubber to help reduce the pulses that exist from the vp. you want to do this before it kills your electric pressure sender. I need to do this for mine.

To do it on the cheap you can get a needle valve and plumb it in between. I have a ghetto azz cheap gauge from Autozone... Its a baby little mechanical unit... Maybe 3/4 or 1" in dia. It works good but only goes to 15psi so the Airdog bottoms it out. However, it never fluctuated on my POS lift pump because it was such small line and it has a screen in it.
I was told that this bouncing will kill the sending unit so BE cautious! Not sure if thats the truth but better safe then sorry.

Is a snubber something I can buy at the local auto store? What exactly does it look like? Is it that brass fitting with the twist **** on it?

thank you...

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

With the needle valve, will it constrict the flow of the diesel to the VP44?

You can get a snubber from Genos Garage too... Its the AutoMeter unit... Its 21$ and their part number is AM-3279
They are a Supporter on here and if you post in their forum section may have a more up to date price.. My catalog is a little older.
