EGT'S
i have whats done to my truck in my (sig)
my egts arerunning around 1200 wide open trough all the gears. just wondering if thats to much. when i tow my 25 foot seevee i cant seem to keep them under 1000 with smarty and edge off.
also i just put 37 toyos with 22 inch rims. will this help me in the 1/4 mile or hurt me? i have the power to turn them. with my 33's and 35's in the past it seemed like i ran out of gearing. so IMO 37s would quicken me up? thanks

The difference in rotational weight could affect you as well. Going from steel wheels and 35x12.5 Toyo MT's, to Factor Alloy's with 305/75's I bet I lost 40-50 lbs. per corner. Wanna run fast 1/4s? Be light with lots of power and don't run out of accelertaion before the finish line. Taller tires = slower acceleration, but higher top end. Wider tires = more drag. Weight = slower.

if your running 355's and 37's you really change the gear ratio from stock and yes you can change the gearing too much and loose optimal setting. I found with my 01 and the auto 33's went best with the 355's 35's were too much and i lost mpg and it didn't cruise as well. Now my 99 5spd works great with 35's 33's are a lil small.
