Default Question On PVC Intake Tube Build

I was thinkin about a new intake tube so I can re-route things under the hood and one of the thoughts is to use PVC. But the question is would the glue that connects the parts set off any sensors on these trucks. It's some pretty strong stuff as far as giving off gasses.

I would think once it is cured there would no longer be any kind of gas or odor. As far as heating up I really don't see that being a issue either. Most of your glues or coatings that have odor are just because of the solvents used as carriers and once cured the solvent has been evaporated. This is just my theory on it. No proven facts. Just a lot of use of solvent based materials. There are actually flammable coatings when wet that are self extinguishing when cured.

I agree with Jazz. Once cured I can not see any harmful gases being present. To be safe, you could let it sit for a day or two.
