Tapped Pump VS Bigger Injectors

Tapped Pump VS Bigger Injectors
I got a question here for the hot shots on the site. I'm installin the 3rd VP44 on my truck and I've had my fill of it so now I have another idea to throw out here to see if it has any merit. First things first before anybody says it, I'M NOT P-PUMPIN IT. Now that were past that.
I have a Drag Comp installed with RV275 injectors right now and it is a known fact that tappin the wire is hard on a pump and that's why very few shops will warranty a tapped pump. So my thought is to not tap and compensate with some bigger injectors, 125's or 150's. will this make up any of the difference.
This is a farm truck, trailer puller and daily driver, not a competition truck.

yes getting bigger injectors would compensate not tapping the pump?

one thing though if its a trailer hauling truck about the biggest i would go in injectors would be 100 hp. If to big could over heat the truck? Or get 2 stage injectors so you can have the 150 horse or then turn the injectors back to stock.

Really me i pull quite a bit of things and all that i have is 65 hp injectors and my truck pulls strong but then i want to get a chip to play around once in a while.A couple of times ive pulled a 38,000 pound load and my truck pulled it just fine?

A timing only box works very well with a 125-150hp injector with a truck running a hx35.
In one of the work trucks i have a quad xzt+ and some sdx 125s stock clutch 5spd 3.73s. I tried everthing and could only hit 1300deg with a load with great cruising egts. Very good powerful setup. You could run a 150hp injector also but it would just run a little warmer.

The pump I'm changin out was one of Blue Chip's special pumps that was warrantied for the tap and it did last a few years, so well out of warranty time.
I also use the 2 cycle in most tanks of fuel. Not all but most.
This truck isn't abused no matter how you look at it and even though the last pump had at least two years on the truck that probably equated to less then 30,000 miles.
