Default Will new nozzles effect pop pressures?

Out of curiosity, when installing new nozzles, would the pop pressure change? In theory, they should remain the same. I'm just not sure if that is the case in the real world.

Any insight?

Anytime you replace nozzles you have to have them pop tested.

The reason I ask is the injectors in question were adjusted maybe 1,000 miles ago, but with the same ole tiny RV275 nozzles.

If you install new nozzles you have to have them re-tested.

if there is any variance in length of the nozzles, the spring pressure changes. that's why there are shims in the body- to get the pressure right.
but i did nozzles and didn't pop test them, and seems to work great, at least seat of pants test

Sometimes you can get lucky and they run fine. 9 times out of 10 they wont.

Time to buy the equipment to pop test them....... I'm sick of paying other people to do something I know how to *sigh*

Good luck finding an adapter for the injectors. I had a hell of a time finding one and there not cheap.
