Default My pesky LP

Well i think its finaly happening... my lift pump is goin out... I think.

My truck the other day drivin home maid a wierd noise almost like it had just been started when real cold and i figured no big deal tell it did it again and again and now very reilably itll do it several times shiftin through the gears and crusin. My question is will the LP make the vp make noise if it runs it outta fuel or do i have bigger problems like the vp itself?

I have seen several stock lift pumps make some funny noises when they go bad. Not always but sometimes. Do you have a fuel pressure gauge?

if its your lift pump, u better replace it before your injection pump goes out, its expensive and no fun to put in

yeah you can only hope the damage is not already done. these should have come factory with fuel pressure gauge and a fass or similar pump

If youre in a real pinch for $ you can get a holley blue or black and get a stiffer spring from the hardware store to build some pressure with it.
