Default PM3 Comp WOW!!!

Holy crap this thing fuels hard!!! Makes the old edge feel like a stock truck!! Pyro slams up just as hard as the boost gauge though, definitely needs more turbo. Going to try hooking the edge back in EZ mode to put some timing in it and see if it at least makes EGT somewhat manageable.

It does have one quirk about it I was wondering if anyone else had experienced. When you roll into the throttle and you just start to feel the box start adding some fuel (lets say around 10 psi) and you get off the throttle for some reason, the engine makes a kind of stuttering sound and doesnt want to return to idle right away. My guess is it is the added fuel and boost being used up and is normal, just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced it before.

Never had the problem you are talking about but I did run the pm3 with my drag comp in ez mode and it was a great combo. I liked it even better stacked with my smarty but the timing from the comp will help some. Definitely a turbo will be a great benefit

With a TST PM3 Comp version it will do all kinds of ripping and snorting if you abruptly lift off of it like that,it is well known and been felt by many.

Wait until you get the EZ stacked onto it and go for a ride......

i just put it on mine while waiting for mark to get the new box out. at different times in the last year or so, ive ran the ADR(on a variety of tunes) and the Edge juice as well as tried the MP8, none fueled this hard or even close to it. Ive been testing the new box marks developing now since august and its up there with the old PM3 comp and thats just the regular tune, we havent even tried the new COMP tune, its still in programing status right now. but yes, after putting it on, i dont reccomend running it on level 9 without a bigger turbo or even twins, heck on 1, itll spike a pyro in less then a few seconds.

when i was running the tst pm3 comp/EZ stack my truck would do the same thing. I'm running a Quadzilla Adrenaline now and i think it fuels alot harder than the tst/ez stack. imo

i dont think so, i ran it and played with various tunes, i couldnt ever get close to the power of a juice let alone a TST COMP, the onesemi-negative thing is that the TST box is designed for a smooth powerband and fuels as boosts increases vs the ADR which can be set to dump max fuel right off the bat, theres good and bads to both, but ive found on my truck that it responds to the TST PM3 Comp tuned box much better the ADR. the other thing is that ive found the TST comp to continue fueling up to my redline which is a big improvement over my old juice
and yes TST is developing a new box for the 24 valve vp44 powered trucks. Its pretty wild, ive been helping mark test it since august, right now we are waiting on the company thats making the boards to get em finished and put together so we can wrap up testing and get them on the market, hopefully very soon. i cant release too many details but the new box with the standard tune fuels very hard but smooth, the new comp tune is still in development and may set a new HP mark for boxes for VP44 trucks, thats goal anyway.

yes , SO pump. ive never owned a HO but we've played with them on the dyno at TST, josh, a buddy of mine put a HO on his 98.5 24 valve and we couldnt get near the max gains out of it compare to the SO pump it had before. not sure why that is, i think it may have something to do with the smaller plungers inside the HO pump. SO pumps are bigger plungers. as for a chip, id go with either TST or edge.
