Default Glow shift gauges.

Anyone have any experience with installing these brand? I got the whole kit with pillar off a friend who never put them on and sold his truck. Its the boost, tranny temp and egt. Whats the best mounting place's? And does the trans temp just mount in the side of the pan? Thanks

i guess you had to supply your own wire to connect the sensors with the guages ? Also does the tranny temp just go right into the side of the pan?

if you have a aftermarket pan then yes if not either you will have to weld a bung in the pan or put it inline

Glow shift sent a wiring kit to me but the only wire i used was one to fuel sensor, and two wires for power for the lights in gauges. What series of gauges do you have black, white, or 7 color tinted gauges?

the black 7 color. I meant to get from the supplied wires to the sensor. Back of the guage has about 1ft of wire and same on sensors. I just going to drill the pan for the sensor and braze a nut on it.

you can also put the sensor in the rear test port on the trans like the edge instructions state. This is where i have mine. less mess too

it's on the passenger side rear of the trans you pull the bolt/plug and put the temp sender in there. I can't get the edge manual to open from online, it has a nice picture there.

There is no place as far as I know to get the temp from the trans like the factory unless your running a scan tool the whole time. do you know how hot your trans got? 250 is when the light should come on and you will have no overdrive
