expected life of tranny on power puck
ok,i am a proud owner of a 2001 cummins diesel 4x4 , unfortunetly it is equipped with the 47re transmission, i was wondering, how much would i haveto worry about the tranny if i ran a diablo power puck tuner to it, the power puck adds 50hp and 120 torque i believe, its a baby chip, but im still scared for my tranny as im going to school next year and will haveto eat rice for 5 months if i haveto rebuild my trans.. allll replies welcome, im dieing to buy this, but i need to shut the little voice in the back of my head up first.

The first thing I did to mine was intake exhaust and a power puck. It is a nice little box. It isnt a kick in the A$$ but you will know it is there. I ran mine for a while on my stock tranny and converter with no problems at all. You will be surprised how much it will help out. After you have in in for a week or two unhook it and drive it around and you will see just how much it helps.

I only put around 4K on it withthe puck and I drove the F&%K out of it. It is a nice box but wasnt what I was looking for at the time. You will pretty much have the same setup i was running for a while except i had stock injectors. It will be a nice little jump in power for you.Oh yeah with the mods or not GET SOME GAUGES.
