Default Banks power elbow?

Does anyone have the banks power elbow on their truck? Im thinking about getting one but dont know if it really helps or not. also is a 5" exhuast to large for a truck with intake exhuast programmer and injectors. What differance would there be between an open 4" and 5" exhuast powerband wise? egt wise? and sound wise? thanks

bigger the exhaust the better, the banks elbow will free up some restricted exhaust flow smoother and your egt's will drop probably 100 degrees. you may see a difference in spool up time but nothing major i run 5" turbo back on my 99 24v, no muffler, exits behind rear tire. its quiet inside but sounds bitchin outside!

Turbo20psi, Can you tell us what the temps were before and after? On spool up time how big of a difference? Trying to justify the expense.

Thanks, Mike

there is no gain by going to 5" exhaust till your up in the power range...don't remember the numbers where it helped, but 4" seems to do just fine. mines runs 603 on 4"
