in putting a trans from a 2nd gen dodge into a 3rd gen dodge.I got a third that will not shift to 3rd or fourth it was just rebuilt and new converter.I thought that the 2nd gen would be easier to work on.

 

Need the PCM, wiring harness, and cross member out of the 2nd gen. I believe the 3rd gen bell housing, t-case, and drive shafts will work, but don't hold me to it.

 

I didn't think the pcm controlled the tranny?I have to use the pcm for the 24v becouse the 12v pcm will not work right?The pcm still has to run the engine the tranny is controlled by line pressure not computer except the overdrive?
