Default Aero Turbine vs. Straight Pipe

Would there be any effects to putting on the Aero Turbine muffler such as increase in exhaust temps or spool up vs. being straight piped. I'm just getting tired of this very loud truck. I get comments from people all the time and I don't go around racing it. It's loud just idling. I thought maybe the Aero turbine might tone it down some but, I don't want to lose any benefits of being straight piped. Anyone have any info on this. Thanks

the aero turbines are pretty well represented. its more of a resonator than a muffler; yes it will quite it down but not anything drastic; it'll also eliminate some of the more annoying diesel drone and give it a nice throaty sound; if i had the money i'd already have one and be able to let ya know. get on you tube and look it up, there're afew vids and they sound pretty good

Running one on my truck, and it does have a deep throaty sound as described above.

Hey wildbill is yours just the aero turbine or does it have the resonator. Man I hate trying to make a decision when it comes to this truck cause I always end up doing something different after I decide and make the purchase. Then I buy again

I wonder what a resonator by itself would do?

You still have one. I was thinking you had one for sale, cause I was thinking about getting one then. Does or did yours have the resonator?

Oh and that little cursor floating around in your sig drives me fricken nuts. I keep thinking mine is screwing up
