Headlight Bomb to HID.Bulbs? dual or single filament? 99 sport
Ok,
I am updating my head lights on my 99 sport since the housings are so scratched and blurry you cant see the bulbs. My question is I see my headlights have 2 bulbs a 9007 low and a 9005 high. My plan is to update both to HID but need to know if I need to by a bi-xenon kit for both bulbs or a single xenon kit for both? I cant tell when the high beams are activated if all 4 bulbs stay on. thanks in advance for the info.

Ok got the parts, and will be doing the install this weekend. Bulbs are 9004=high beam and 9007 low beam, which are essentially the same bulb, just the neg and pos. are flip flopped. Will be installing 55w digital kit on both high and low beam. Hopefully I don't need relays, but I have them handy just in case. I'll post before and after photos and some pics of the install.

OP,
Looking at your signature you have the sport model headlights. I have a thread on a non sport retro fit to HID with some FX-R projectors. I would suggest to look at a forum call hidplanet.com and there are a couple of places that have the stuff needed like retrofitsource.com and retrosolutions cannot remember their exact web address, but I am sure it will pop quickly on google.
