What problems were you having with the edge? I assure you there's more power to be made (if you want more) than what your currently using. I'm guessing your probably a 4:10 truck using mostly bottom end power and torque for daily driving? I will say due to the fact the smarty dosent add any additional fueling that your egts once spooled are probably a little cooler and better on fuel mileage. Whats your end HP goal?

Its really hard with a non wiretap box to break the 400 range but not saying it cant be done. I'm thinkin maybe you had a timing issue or a issue with your box. You should have had much more unburnt fuel than with the smarty only? Are you sure you tapped the right wire (not calling you a dummy, just seen it done). I could really feel the snap with the smarty but I didnt have nearly as much top end fueling. I've noticed maybe part of the problem with the smarty and making power is the fact it uses so much fuel in the bottom end. All you need for 600 is a Drag Comp, Fass 150 or AD 150, and a set of 7x12's ....heck my 7x14's pulled 599 fuel only with a drag comp!

Hmm, just dosent seem right, Could have been the effect on the fuel system early in the powerband caused by the smarty. You might try the Quad or another edge box and check your results, You might also step up to a little bit bigger injector. That charger will have no problem at all cleaning up 125's. that may be what you were dealing with, while the smarty provides much better low end fueling , but no top end fueling , actully it really dosent increase the fueling only changes the map which is what causes more smoke thats harder to clear up. Call me monday and I'll see what I've got laying around used that might help!
