Default Dilemma

I have an 01 Cummins with a stock Turbo and a Pacbrake. I am looking to upgrade my turbo but I would no longer be able to use my current Pacbrake. They do not make a kit for it with a bigger turbo and I would have to buy a whole new system and install a compressor (current one uses vacuum) into my truck to have an Exhaust break again. Does anyone have any suggestions?

It depends on the aftermarket turbo. I know that with some flanges and such that a PAC will fit on just about anything. The question is will there be space to get it to fit between the mount and the fire wall.

PAC makes all sorts of bits and pieces. Give them a call in Canada and see what they say.

According to PAC if I get an aftermarket turbo with a 4" exhaust (which is what I am looking at) my current exhaust brake will no longer bolt up do to the fact it is for the 3". All of the 4" kits from PAC require a compressor since they run on air not vacuum.

I don't know the part number and PAC says they no longer make the vacuum type.
