Default Fuel cut off speed?

This site has proven to be very helpfull and informative to me with my diesel questions.
The one question I really have is what speed does the truck shut off at? I thought there was some kind of speed limiter.
How can I shut that off of my 01?
Thanks

BD-RAD with top speed eliminator feature. I think stock you are limited to roughly 100mph or so. I've had my 24v up around 130 before. Its kinda scary going that fast in tall truck though. Not to mention a little reckless. I don't really drive like that anymore.

Stock, my 01 would cut out at about 112 or so. Not stock, I chickened out at 117. Not a regular practice, they do get very scary at these speeds, not to mention the price to be paid if you get caught......

Yea I wasnt planning on flying around the highways around me, I was under the impression that the cut off was somewhere around 85-90 and around here in order to not get ran off the road you have to at least be doing 70 so sometimes its needed to go alittle faster and was always afraid the truck will shut off on me. haha
Thanks for the help!

When my truck was much newer then it is now I hit 120mph with no mods. Didn't know there was even such a thing as a speed limiter when I did this but evidently not on my truck anyway.

The highways I drive are pretty beat up from construction and abuse so you cant really keep a steady high speed so I'm not sure how fast I have gone.
Thanks for the info!
Whats torque management?
I have an 01 so it applies to my truck also.

TQ Management is a program built into your factory computer that will limit the amount of power your truck will make on take off. This is designed to save your automatic transmission. From a stop hold your brake and give it throttle. You will see your truck go to around 5psi of boost then it will fall on its face. Now if you have a smarty to remove this your truck will keep building boost from a stop until your tires brake loose.
