did you buy nozzles or whole injectors...if you got just nozzles then youshould of get them pop tested once you installed them into the injector body...if you did not then that is where you miss is coming from...if you did whole injectors then you probably didnt get the crossover tube seated right, check the line going to that cylinder and also that the crossover tube is seated properly

you can get an infared temp gun and read each exhaust port temp on the exhaust manifold. that will tell you where the bad injector is.

if you use a temp gun you have to get it pretty close to the head to actually find one that is cooler then the others, i would crack the lines one at a time and it should sound different until you find the one that isnt firing then it will sound the same...how long has it been doing this?? If its the first time you started it after installing the new injectors then there might jsut be air in the system and it will work its self out in a few minutes...

if he lets the truck get completely cool and cranks it up in a matter of seconds he should either be able to feel by hand or use the gun to tell which cyl is not firing and is "skipping".....

Check injector number 6 and make sure you got the injector fuel line tight. It's tough to get to so for some reason it's a common problem to not get it tightened down and it makes this exact lopey idle your talkin about.
