Answered in another thread, but it's easy!

For maximum black smoke, pour 5 gallons of gasoline over engine and ignite with a road flare. Remember to not get burned, safety first!

You'll learn here real quick that as a whole we're mostly against smoke and all for power. Smoke is just a byproduct... Why does everyone just want smoke? Sure its cool to black out a highway but your just wasting your gas...

Yeah I understand and I am trying to make more power in the future I just don't have the money now..and I don't know I just like the smoke. I'm not one of those guys who pulls up next to someone just to smoke out there car..just once in a while its nice especially if a tailgater is really close

To make adjustable smoke you have to have an adjustable fueling box to start things off with. From there to make the big amounts you need the injectors. Bigger injectors create extra heat to get rid of so you need a bigger exhaust, aftermarket air intake and most important of all for your truck a better fuel delivery system, High pressure fuel pump to replace the stock lift pump. These trucks aren't cheap and if you wanna play you gotta pay.

Nothin wrong with adjustable smoke, we all like that as long as it turned down while your around the general public. Understand that this isn't about you personally but most all of us have come to understand that every time we see a truck like ours rollin down the street blowin smoke, all were are really seein is all of us being one day closer to federal regulation takin our trucks away from us.

and for the topic, an air bag over the airfilter will do it pretty good.
