Do i have aftermarket injectors ?

Default Do i have aftermarket injectors ?

I am still pondering if the last guy put injectors in my truck before he sold it,

What's the best way to test before i go and pull one out ? Even if i pull one out, what should i look for on the injector ?

I can produce some decent amount of power with only a FASS and S300 turbo'

if i get on it hard from a stop i can see some light smog out the pipe, and i can make an intersection unbearable.

I haven't seen my EGT's up any higher than 1150 under full boost even with the BD boost fooler in there and running 35#'s of boost.

What do i need to do ?!

i doubt it, most likely you have stock ones, if your egts are only getting to 1150 that is what makes me believe you have stockers

you can look at the tips and see how many holes there is and if some are larger than others

Count the holes in the tip. Stock are 7 holes. However, just because you have 7 doesn't mean its stock, and telling a difference in hone size is hard because the difference is literally at most a couple thousandths of an inch.

Only seeing 1150 without a fueling box and having an s300 on there leads me to believe he might have some injectors in there. I have small towing twins, and with 110hp injectors and a drag comp cranked all the way up I can only see 1100. Buy some aftermarket injectors and you'll know for sure that you do. Or switch out some other stockers and see if you notice a difference.

That's what i was thinking, an S300 and a 4" full exhust should bring my EGTS way down.

Maybe he put some RV275's in there

i guess the only way is to run a set of stockers, or buy some new ones,

But i'd much rather buy my box when it comes time,

What's another 200 Deg' on the pyro ?!

I'd say yes you have aftermarket injectors. With my 150's and the adrenaline off it gets close to the same egt's as yours.
