You should. The cold and not the WIF sensor can cause you problems.

Plumb the unit to the back of the stock fuel filter cannister and then keep the stock connection from that cannister to the VP44 and that way you can also keep your fuel pressure gauge intact.

There is nothing wrong with what you've done I just think it is better to do it thsi way is all.

I agree with Mr. Earp.

The fuel heater might be needed in your neck of the woods...Do you see much below 10 degrees F in the winter?
