Moving or not would affect it, no. I would wipe it all dry and let the truck idle for a few minutes. Check under there and see if it is wet. If it is then you have a fitting someplace leaking. If it is still dry after idling then drive it a few miles and check again. If it's only wet after driving it is either a very slow leak that looks bigger then it is or the tank itself is leaking. There are some things that could prove this all wrong but this will track down almost all the possibilties.

HIGHLY doubt the tank would myseriously start leaking the day i install a new fuel system.............im gonna start with what dazed said and drain my old fuel flter canister, im goin to bed now ill check this in the AM for more replies

If you didn't change the return line fitting also, I'm still bettin on the new suction line fitting is not sealed though. So keep feeling down the metal part of the suction tube to see if it is wet while your doin this. You can also use talc powder or flour to check this. Just sort of dust the module area and rive it a few miles, your leak will show right up.

What you are seeing is the left over fuel from your old fuel filter running back the stock fuel line you disconected when you put the fass system in it. Drain your old fuel filter bowl and I bet your problem will go away. You still have fuel in there and with the line open on both ends it is going to move when you drive the truck and look for a place to escape. Unless you cracked the fitting replacing the pickup line(which I doubt) that is your only problem.

I've not seen a water bleeder on one of these trucks yet that is rusted or coroded around here, guess it depends on where you are.

You just mentioned the same thing I was talking about in your previous post. We never were talking about the fuel filter end of things, all of our conversation was based around the tank area and I was reffering to the pickup line fitting being corroded.:ph:

the pick up line fiting is brand new from FASS

Mine was brand new as well, I just clamped the hose for a little added protection. I still say it is just fuel left over in the stock line and fliter housing. Drain it and see if your leak stops.
