Adrenaline Beta USB Updates

Doesn't sound like something you want to run every day. I loaded up the new 3000g tune and 3000 comp tune yesterday. Had to make some adjustments on the comp tune to get my truck to run decent. It kept flashing "defueling" on the pulse and I have nothing set for it to defuel. But that tune runs hard:U::rocking:

Jazz 04-08-2009 07:00 AM

Just a reminder for any of you who try this tune. No :dang::mum:

From Quad
Ok, for those of you that have complained and whined that we removed all the "good" tunes, I uploaded a new tune that you cannot complain about.

First off, as stated on the website do not report any drivability or goofy issues to me. This tune pushes the limits. It may or may not work well with your particular setup. You will need to try different settings and power levels based on your modifications.

I WILL NOT EVEN RESPOND TO ANYONE WITH GOOFY ISSUES WITH THIS TUNE. If you don't like it, change it. If you like it, enjoy it.

Basically this is at the very limit of how soon and how much fuel you can run through the VP44.

It drives ok in our truck but, is obviously sensitive to throttle inputs. The bigger injectors you have, the worse it will be I would think.

This tune is meant for massive torque, massive down low response, massive smoke and massive fun.

It was not intended for dyno use, sled pulling, drag racing etc. It may work well for you doing those things but, you need to decide this.

Based on our findings with this much fuel the top end numbers will suffer. Your results may vary.

It is our experience that Dyno3 is best for dyno numbers. Once again, individual results may vary.

3000 and Comp3 are excellent for drag racing and sled pulling. Both are a good base and you can tune them to fit your exact needs.

So basically, this is a fun tune. I hope you enjoy.

HAVE ANY OF TRIED IT YET....... please tell me.. i wanna no what i am missing...

Jazz 04-08-2009 01:02 PM

I tried them both. The comp tune is pretty strong:rocking::c:

Diesel Dawgs Performance 04-08-2009 03:41 PM

Ive tried the ADR3000G and it feels stronger than the ADR2000 but I still had to adjust my Mins and Max to ge the Surge out.

Diesel Dummy 04-08-2009 06:31 PM

Luke you still running around at the 60 mark on yours, i have mine set there and it does pretty good. surge is there at the higher levels but its pretty smooth on the cruising levels!!!

kazairl 04-08-2009 07:02 PM

The 3000G is like glass on my truck. I usually ran around on lvl 2 or 3 but now I have it cranked up to 6 pretty much all the time. You can tell when you've hit your Fueling mins and then about 3K the rev limiter gets a bit harsh if you don't have it floored.

However my truck usually only surged while pulling a trailer so one of these days I'll have to hook up to one and see how she does.

Diesel Dawgs Performance 04-14-2009 09:53 PM

I'm currently running these settings and it seems to run smooth.

Timing 9
Pump Stret. 1850
Pump and Can Max 90
Pump and Can Mins 25

This is with the new Adr3000 Tune. Mine seems to surge when I set the Pump and Can Max to 100. The old Comp2 tune seems to have one throttle position that just all of a sudden hits hard.

Jazz 04-15-2009 07:15 AM

That torq tune is not drivable on my truck at all. Tried it yesterday to play around a little and I swear the damn chassis was coming out from under the truck. That is a very strong tune down low.:U: I have no idea what top end is like, never got there:w2: I'm going to try and make some adjustments with it today:ok1:

CumminsCrazed 04-15-2009 08:48 PM

sounds like a fun tune for the ricers that piss you off at stop lights or idiot drivers :D

lobsterman04 04-16-2009 11:45 AM

I've been running this tune for about a week now and it is oddly smooth on my truck. It does hit somethin stupi. But dang is it fun.:rocking:

Jazz 04-16-2009 05:03 PM

I have the torque tune much more drivable now on lower settings. On higher settings its all or none. If I run it hard it runs pretty good, and talk about smoke:w2: but still can't drive it down the road on higher settings. Way to much surging

oklahoma_6speed 04-19-2009 05:21 PM

you guys suck.:tttt:.. i am still broke... cant run it........is it a tire killer...

lobsterman04 04-20-2009 11:37 AM

It will easily kill tires. And in my case it killed my stock trans. :argh:

oklahoma_6speed 04-20-2009 12:28 PM

that licks... it killed your tranny....... what kind are you going with now.. sorry aboyt the tranny tho

justviper1 04-20-2009 10:06 PM

I noticed that with the 3000 and dyno3 tunes that if I tried a brake stand that the truck would start to break up pretty bad and would not turn the tires. It was kind of disappointing. With the old dyno tunes I could easily burn the tires off.

mudn_1 04-20-2009 10:52 PM

Yeah the dyno tune surges the worst i have ever felt! It pulls real hard wide open, but it sucks to drive daily! the comptune is ok but i hit the revlimiter to quick and I need a few more rpms to really get her running, the torque tune surges pretty bad too!

Diesel Dawgs Performance 04-21-2009 12:31 AM

Remember guys the Torque Tune and Dyno Tunes aren't made to run as a daily driver.

Jazz 04-22-2009 06:35 AM

I saved the adr3000 comp and adr3000g as tunes 1 & 2 and use the torque tune as my factory tune. That way you can stretch the fueling all the way to 2400 on all three tunes:U: I can drive any of the tunes on settings 1-3 but after that it's pretty much all or nuthin. They run strong as hell wide open but if you drive just normal it'll surge on ya on the higher settings

oklahoma_6speed 04-22-2009 02:52 PM

maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan...strop talking about it.. tell i am fixed..........lmao

oklahoma_6speed 04-23-2009 02:53 PM

jazz.. did you , download the factory tune first.. then set 1 and 2... i reckon i did it backwards...... ill try it the other way... download the torque first then the others......... and yea... the torque tune has a lil haze to it.. and i just tap the foot ped, and ,, poooooooooof.... black stuff comes out....epa was circleing the house in the helli,,,lol.......... ok i downloaded the tunes.. tq tune as fact... 3ooocomp as t1, and 2021 for t2.... jazz how did you get the fuel stretch up to 2400 on the other tunes...... 2200 is all it would go...but i have 2400 on the factory... am i missing something.... ehlp.. if ya can....

Texas_Outlaw 04-24-2009 09:26 AM

I loaded it on my truck two days ago. I run it on level 5 driving to work and it will only surge around 70 but if I cruise 65 its fine. Truck did the same thing running the older dyno file. I love it, instant power at the tap of the throttle.

Tweaker727 04-25-2009 08:48 PM

alright, i'm lost .. can you load custom made files for the adrenaline off our computer ??
:pca1:

Diesel Dawgs Performance 04-25-2009 11:27 PM

You can only load the tunes that Quadzilla has on there website. In order to custom tune you have to have the Pulse.

Sorry didn't explain that very well. I actually loaded the torque tune for all 3 but for tune 1 and 2 I changed all the settings to match the adr3000g and adrcomp that way I still have the stretch to 2400. Hope that helps.:c: Sorry it took so long to back to ya.

oklahoma_6speed 04-28-2009 10:11 PM

i got ya now jazz... thanks.....i have been wondering how the hell..... ill try it.. one day..

Jazz 04-29-2009 06:49 AM

That way I can turn down the pump stretch to 2000 I think it is for the adr comp tune and set all the other parameters to what ever the tune calls for and I can also stretch any of the tunes to 2400:U::c:

What is wrong with your truck? How long before your up and running again. Soon I hope:U:

oklahoma_6speed 04-29-2009 11:57 AM

i am hoping that i just lifted the head... will know something today.. if it will hold together or not.... i am crossing my fingers and toes.. and my nutts... that its not the block needing surfaced... head checked out ok.. no crack.. and was surfaced... now.. will know if that works...

2141pete 04-29-2009 10:30 PM

The extreme tune is nice, but wait till you find out what's next:w2:

Diesel Dawgs Performance 04-30-2009 12:02 AM

I have 200,000 mi on this truck. That would mean more money spent to turn more rpm's:argh: Not sure if this old truck wants to see 4k let alone 5k:humm:

But I can be pretty persuasive :w2:

Diesel Dawgs Performance 04-30-2009 04:17 PM

U mean the truck is to old or your to old? :w2:
