Several 01 3500 questions?
I have an 01 Cummins 1 ton dually 6 speed. First off, what shocks do you recommend, especially for the front. I hear alot about Rancho's and something about edelbrocks. It is a farm truck and I like a soft ride, but this bounce I have is a bit much. Secondly, I have read somewhere that the steering sector from a chevrolet will fit this 01 Dodge. What years would the chevy bolt up to this dodge, if there is any truth to that. My box has the endplay on the bottom from the bad bushings. How many of you have followed the following outline- Ram Steering Gear Adjustments ? Did it help any. Lastly, My truck sure steers very stiff. Not like the p steering pump is out of oil but like it doesn't have enough grunt. It steers like the tires are almost flat. How do yours drive and what can I do to improve it. It steers pretty easy jacked up but not going slow or stopped on pavement. Thanks for the help. Eddie

Bar none!!! I have had mine for 70,000 and I WAS going to replace them. I pulled the m out and had a new set ready to go in and the new ones were wrong .. I HAD NO issues putting my old 5125's back in as they are still good ... allbeit a teeny bit softer now but still good.
I have had edelbrock IAS shock on the truck for 1.7 miles ...... took em off and drove right back to G-force and begged them to take em back ... and they did and the bilstein story began. The IAS are J U N K.
