I have asked around on the other forums so I figured I would ask here to. Does anyone have HID head lights in their truck? Mine are being installed next Friday and I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of them.

What are you going to see with pics?

Usually, the actual headlight housing doesnt change - the HID bulbs are simply installed in the OEM housings and the ballasts sit just outside of the housings.

It might be helpful if you gave us a link to what exactly you bought.

 

i've been running aftermarket hid's since 98 when they first became available aftermarket.
i wouldn't drive without them. every car i've had since then has had HID lighting.

 

you can see a HUGE difference in pics from stock to HID if you look around at trucks with HID lights...and also HIDs come in different colors is why I asked for the pics....

anyways...I bought the flash tech hid kit..

10,000 k 55 watt bulbs high/low for the head lights
10,000 k 35 watt bulbs for the fog lights

and btw, those HIDs in that dodge above look great! What brand are they?

your putting 10,000 K in both headlights and fog lights?

damn let me know how that works out wit the cops.. I got 6000k in my headlights and 3000k for my fogs and i love it

 

HIDs are street legal...all they can really do is get pissed I guess!
