how much nitrous could i use with out hurting anything??

How much power are you looking for and what do you have done to your truck?
Contact the guys at left coast diesel. They have a lot of experience with nitrous on the 24v trucks, including having the record setting VP44 truck with over 1000hp with a single and nitrous. They should be able to tell you exactly how to dial your set up in for what you're trying to get.

i am not looking for to much just to cool down the truck not much done yet just the edge comp! maybe like a 100 or 50 thats what i was asking what would be safe?

Without studs I would stay away from Nitrous.

Just get your twins built and that will do the trick. Between my stock charger and my twins, even stepping up another 70hp in injector size, I lost 500-600degrees.

i run a 150 shot in my cummins and my egts at WOT in hot level on my edge, i never get over 1100 with my hx40. plus that shot completly got rid of my turbo lag. anymore than that can be dangerous without proper upgrades, i.e HEAD STUDS!!!!! i ran nitrous before i got my studs and lets say i would sissy foot as much as possible with the nitrous on for 5-7 secs. never realize the power until you are protected
