If your truck has the intank pump then you will need a Draw Straw.

Hey guys, I'm new to the site. I have a 02 6 speed that has injectors, cold air intake, jake brake, south bend, edge drag comp and just bought a PDR HX 40 yesterday. I'm just trying to find out if this is going to be a good turbo for my truck? A little late now but hey. I only paid $250 for it so not to bad. Any info would be great.
Thanks

ill answer you, the hx 40 will work fine depending on the injector size. the 40 will move a bunch more air then stock and should support you with low egts up 450-500. if theres a negative, itll spool a little slower but you wont notice it much. in case you didnt, make sure you get the 4 inch downpipe for it otherwise it wont bolt up.

OK well you guys helped me figure out the FASS pump situation, now I got another question for you. First, how the heck do you start a thread for starters? I cannot find nothing to lead me that way. Secondly, with the above information about add-ons to my truck, I am not considering a turbo upgrade. I have looked into the Aurora 3000, the Phat Shaft's, Bd Diesel's, and the Turbonetics brands, but still can't decide which would be most efficient for the money and practical. I don't need agressive, as this truck is an every day driver that I like to play with on the weekends, maybe drag race etc...I was told anywhere from 60-64mm is right, and need to know what in your opinions is the best turbo for the money. Also any extra parts, and any tips you feel I need would be greatly appreciated too...As always thanks alot!

Look at HTT turbos. I have their 62/13SS and I like it. Best of all, you can swap housings on it to suit your needs.

Fuel pressure gauge is a must,it's been said already, but can't be over emphasized.
