Default Adrenaline Problem

Ok so I got my Adrenaline yesterday and me and a friend put it on after work. Everything about the instal went fine until I hooked up the little red wire w/ the white tracer to the #9 fuse. Started the truck up and the pulse is dead. The chip doesn't even act like its turning on.

I get out jiggle wires and check everything over then reach in and shut my truck off. Its stays running. I pull the key out and it has no effect. Tapping the brake pedal or accelerator changes nothing. Pull the fuse to kill the engine. Connect it to the radio fuse that my FP gauge is hooked to and lo and behold my radio and FP gauge both turn on. So the Red wire W/ white tracer is suppling 12V directly from the battery through the adrenaline and to whatever circuit the Red w/ white wire is applied to. Anybody have any ideas whats up? Truck still runs fine. Just the injectors alone do a pretty good boost over the EZ.

I haven't had a chance to call Quad yet as I was working out in the boonies all day, but I'll be sure to do it tomorrow. Just seeing if anybody else had some ideas. Thanks.

Some of the stock tunes had Turbo Timer Issues...... If your Pulse doesnt work id call the place where you got it first.

Well one more update. Tried the 1000B tune and now my truck won't even start! Took the chip off still won't start and its throwing a 1475 code and a 0121. The 0121 was on it from before as I have been APPS problems. I've called Quad and been talking to them so hopefully we will get this figured out soon. The bad thing is its raining out right now which makes it annoying.

One good note though! I found out the problem with the Pulse. I took the plug apart to get it through the firewall and when I put it back together I didn't push the pins all the way in

Anyways I'll keep ya posted.

That's ridiculous! How can they keep selling these things with all of the problems they are having?

hmm ain`t had any problems with mine
as was stated he didn`t put the plug back together right for the pulse.
who knows what else could have been put on wrong or what else could be wrong with the truck besides the apps?
If every product that came out was stopped because it didn`t work for some you wouldn`t have any of the bombs for your truck
the p0121 is not an apps but a throttle/pedal position sensor/switch a circuit range/performance problem

Looks like there has been a fix for the surge issues. I will test this idea for the next few days and let you guys know.

Ive got a 1000Tune that you load and it should be smooth as glass. Go to Quads website and load the Comp Tune. Dont save the Comp Tune to your computer only load it from Quads website. Then it should be smooth as glass......

Sounds like there was a bug in some of the tunes that is causing the Surge issues.

Well I'm officially an idiot. Though most of you probably knew that by now huh?
Anyways my truck is working again. All the dealership did is jump the starter relay and it works fine now. Except my blower motor seems to work when it feels like it and the brake light is always on. So something is goofy but at least it still runs. The dealership charged me 50 bucks and didn't even reflash the computer like I wanted them too. But I took it to the dealership on a Saturday. What was I thinking, that they would actually do something?

I put the chip back on(yeah I know I don't learn quick) and it seems to work pretty good. High idle works, warm-up works, the defueling works, I must not have gotten the pump wire tap very well because it doesn't gain much about the 3rd lvl or so.
The only thing that doesn't work is the turbo timer and the fact that the adrenaline never shuts off or goes to sleep. I think most of the problems could be attributed to the fact that I'm too much of a dumbass to figure out how to put the plug back together.
Currently its off and I'm going to send it in so they can figure the turbo timer out. We will see.

One more thing, I'm not sure if its the tune that caused my truck not to start or the fact that maybe something shorted out. I always unplugged the batteries before I unhooked the adrenaline. I was begining to think it would be easier to just install a cut off switch. Come to think of it I did hook up the red/white wire once or twice after the batteries were hooked up. If anything thats probably what caused it.
