Default Older Blue Box Chip

I have one of the original blue box chips from Blue Chip Diesel and was wondering if anyone else has one. It came on my truck when I bought it and I was wanting to know more about it. I am thinking about getting rid of it. Open to advice on what to replace it with.

99' Cummins, 4x4, 60hp injectors, upgraded shafts, K&N Filter, Boost and EGT Gauges

I'm not familiar with that box, but you might have a better chance at getting a response if you post in the second gen forums. Somebody there will be able to give you some info.

This one was around $250 I think, it is just a blue box with a switch, led, and 3 wires

FYI, Blue Chip Diesel invented the first fuellling box for the VP-44 equipped Cummins.

I believe the first box was the FMS which stood for Fuel Management System and had built in digital guages. Describe FMS If thats the box you have keep it ! They sold for $1100+

They also made an adjustable box for a brief period of time - I believe it had 4 or 5 performance settings and was called the APB (Adjustable Power Box) and it was good for 85 hp. I would suspect this is what you have. Whatever it is, keep it and stack it with something else if you are looking for a big performance bump:
